Avalon offers yoga classes in a wider range of styles than most studios, led by regionally and globally known teachers. Classes followed by two asterisks (**) are fine for first-time as well as more advanced students.

Avalon is open for all regularly scheduled classes 365 days a year, including all holidays. Substitutes and class changes are marked in red and are updated daily.

Doris is currently using the class to experiment with a variety of innovative Slow Flow, "Subtle Exercises" (sukshma vyayama) and meditative techniques - breaking new ground in Slow Flow classes!

Alighment-based yoga
Tony Giannetti
Intermediate (and up) for Tony's long-popular class. Tony has extensive training in the Anusara tradition. Strong sense of community: many in the group meet after class with Tony for a late dinner and conversation.

Levels

Yoga classes are sometimes rated by their difficulty using a scale of 1-4. In general, level 1 classes refer to beginner classes, level 2 classes are for intermediate level students, and levels 3 & 4 are aimed at those with adanced yoga training.

Class Packages

Unlike those at most yoga studios, Avalon packages never expire: they will be good even after long absences from the studio.
