Guidelines for Students
- Be on time
- Blow your nose
- Empty your bladder
- Avoid heavy perfumes
- Drink water regularly
- Turn off your cel phone
- Be aware of your breath
- Wear comfortable clothing

Yoga mats are available free for first-time students only. After that we charge a one dollar rental fee.
We recommend that you purchase your own mat to enrich your personal practice.
Blankets, blocks and other helpful yoga props are available for everyone
and are located at the back of the yoga studio. Please feel free to use these to
aid and support your yoga practice.
Please inform your instructor of any injuries or illnesses.
Respect the quiet space upon entering the studio please.
Be compassionate with yourself. Breath, listen to your body and honor the
place you are in. Yoga is not a competition. There is plenty of time to watch your
development as your practice progresses.
Arrive 10 minutes before class starts to sign in. Changing areas are available
at the back of the studio. If you do arrive a few minutes late, please wait to enter
the studio space until the meditation is over as a courtesy to the instructor and
your fellow students. If you are more than 15 minutes late it's best to skip the
class.
It's a often a good idea to mix modalities. For instance, Vinyasa students
may find it helpful to also take an Iyengar
class to gain a deeper understanding of alignment and correct positioning.
